It was fretboard day in the shop yesterday. We were cutting, slotting and fretting lots of boards. Got a new shipment of Rosewood in, one of the few fairly exotic woods we still use. We’re still looking for a good, more common alternative.
Since Breeze is an archtop with a cantilevered fretboard, she has a lot of frets!
Breeze is our first FatBottom archtop and we think she is pretty as a picture!
Next we'll be working on attaching the neck. A bit trickier with the cantilevered fretboard but it looks so cool!
