Shop Update – Brace yourself!

Terrific day in the shop bracing soundboards. We did two interlocking ladders and one ‘chopsticks’ arched cross. Here are the pics.
Lita is a Keystone tenor with a golden Kauri soundboard. She’s got a round soundhole and our light and strong interlocking ladder bracing.
Ukulele Voyager is a Keystone concert with our new asymmetric neck profile. Very comfortable. This is a redwood soundboard.
another keystone tenor but this one uses our popular crossed, arched braces. The center of the sound board is exceptionally flexible with this bracing. These ukes are loud with outstanding sustain.
When it’s 44 degrees in the shop I don’t mind wearing my mask at all. Keeps my nose from going numb! That’s an old dish towel on my head. Gotta do what you gotta do!

January 8, 2013is that an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme parked in the ship? that’s ok, but not as cool as in my dad’s shop… he had a 14′ dragster parked there.
