A new chopsticks braced ukulele is taking shape in the shop. Named “Triumph” for a number of reasons, it represents the pinnacle of our chopstick bracing development.

There are two key improvements to our design shown here. The first is clearly visible. We added two small braces lateral to the soundhole to add a bit of support to the sides of the soundhole. The second modification is harder to see. The two arched crossed braces attach to the bridge plate but also reach forward of the plate 9mm onto the soundboard.
